Brainerd Warrior Fishing Team

The Chapter has sponsored the Fishing Team since the beginning. Many of our members have donated their time acting as Boat Captains for the Team all around the State. The Fishing Team is regarded as one of the best Teams in the State and has many Championships under their belt! The Chapter will continue to support such a great opportunity for kids!

Brainerd Parks and Rec Youth Fishing Clinic at Lum Park

Kids Fishing Clinic
The clinic will consist of informational sessions, eating a shore lunch, fishing from the shore and off the pier, and taking some fishing tackle home. This event is free!  A parent or guardian must be present at all times.

BLC Annual Youth Night

Our Annual Youth Night happens in June. We have all kinds of activities and projects for kids to do. They learn how to make their own fishing lure, paint a fishing t-shirt, cast for fish, ID species of fish, play games for prizes, make fishing jewelry and stepping stones are just some examples. 

MN State High School Muskie Tournament

From Regionals to State Championship. Opportunities for our local youth to fish muskies at a competitive level is awesome! The BLC will be there now and in the future for these kids to excel in the sport of muskie fishing!
